Advanced Ergonomics Consulting

Our main consulting service is the provision of Program Launch Ergonomists. These individuals work with Process and Industrial Engineers as a new product is being launched to ensure that changes in the manufacturing process are acceptable to the human operators. We specialize in proactive solutions that can be made even before prototypes are developed.  In addition, our Ergonomic Consultants are trained in the use of a wide variety of biomechanics transducers. We have conducted a number of assessments in industry using virtual reality, force gauges, hand accelerometers and electromyography (EMG). EMG allows us to quantify muscle effort over the duration of even the most complex tasks. These efforts are compared to standards from the literature to determine if muscles are being loaded in a manner that has an unacceptable potential for injury and/or fatigue.
